Kimberly Kriger is a Partner at Dentons Global Advisors and is based in the New York office. With more than 20 years of strategic communications experience specializing in protecting and enhancing reputations, Ms. Kriger is a trusted advisor to global business leaders and boards of directors. She brings sound judgment and a customized clients-first approach to helping address complex corporate, financial, and mission critical issues and sustainable value creation initiatives. She provides informed counsel and strategic direction on articulating corporate actions and implementing successful multi-stakeholder communication plans for internal and external audiences, inclusive of capital markets, compliance and government affairs considerations and digital reputation, often in rapidly evolving, high-stakes business and legal matters.
Prior to joining Dentons Global Advisors, Ms. Kriger was a longtime Partner in New York at Kekst CNC. Her areas of expertise in strategic global communications consulting include corporate transformation strategy, crisis/risk/change management, environmental, social and governance (ESG) positioning and engagement, litigation communications support, financial restructurings and bankruptcies/insolvencies, M&A/cross-border transactions, regulatory concerns and shareholder activism, SEC/financial disclosures, and leadership succession.
Ms. Kriger has done extensive work developing and implementing successful strategies and programs related to crisis and issues management. She effectively manages expectations and reduces confusion and misrepresentation of clients in the media and with other key audiences. In addition to working with companies, investors and their legal and financial teams in North America, she has advised teams in Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Kriger worked for organizations focused on Russia and economic development. She has guest lectured for MBA students on crisis communications.
Ms. Kriger received a BA cum laude from Wellesley College and MA in International Affairs from Columbia University, where she served on the editorial board of the Journal of International Affairs. She holds a Sustainable Capitalism & ESG Certificate from Berkeley Law School Business in Society Institute. She is also a Board member of the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College, National Committee on American Foreign Policy, and NYC Audubon Society.
